GSC - Oconee Returning Student Registration Information

Advisement & Registration Information for Fall 2008

For students on the Oconee Campus who attended GSC at least one of the following semesters:   Fall 2007, Spring 2008, or Summer 2008. (Students who are not enrolled in the College for three or more consecutive semesters must re-apply for admission.)

FALL 2008 REGISTRATION

There are 2 choices regarding advisement and registration for FALL 2008  

1. Self-Register (If eligible; students who cannot self-register include those enrolled in Learning Support courses, on Probation or Suspension, have CPC deficiencies, or Regents’ holds).  Login to your Banner Web account to see if you have any restrictions.  If you are not eligible to self-register, please refer to option 2 below.
2. Meet with an advisor for advising and registration assistance

*You should anticipate registering for some or all of your Fall semester, 2008, classes at the Gainesville Campus due to the limited availability of classes at the Oconee Campus ( Oconee Campus Classes).

Login to your Banner Web account to check for any holds that will prevent registration.  Examples include Library holds or Admissions holds for outstanding transcripts or immunization

Financial Aid Information

• The Fall priority deadline is June 1.  You must allow 8-12 weeks processing time for financial aid applications and all other required documentation, so apply early!
• Students who are eligible for financial aid and whose financial aid is processed by the fee payment deadline will have any eligible aid applied to tuition/fees.
• Students whose financial aid applications/documentation are not processed by the fee payment deadline must be prepared to pay tuition/fees.  Students who are eligible for aid will be reimbursed.
• Your Financial Aid Status - Check your Banner Web account to determine if your financial aid has been processed.  For instructions on how to login to Banner and view your aid information, click on "Frequently Asked Questions."
• Financial aid forms and instructions are available on the Financial Aid Website.

Fee Payment Information

• Invoices will now be emailed to your GSC email account.
• Invoices can also be viewed in Banner Web.
• View Tuition and Fee Schedule.
• Fee Payment Deadline for Fall 2008 is 5 p.m. on August 4, 2008.
