Gainesville, GA., December 19, 2012 – Gainesville State College President’s, Dean's and Merit Lists for Fall Semester, 2012
Gainesville State College had a successful 2012 fall semester with 8,660 students attending. A total of 1,641 students earned spots on the President’s List, Dean's List and Merit List for fall semester, 2012.
To earn a place on the President’s List, a student must attain a 4.0 grade point average with a minimum of fifteen (15) semester hours of college-level academic work in one semester. A total of 92 students earned this ranking.
A total of 132 students qualified for the Dean's List by attaining a 3.5 or higher grade point average with a minimum of fifteen (15) semester credit hours of college-level academic work in one semester.
To earn a place on the Merit List, a student must attain a 3.5 or higher grade point average with a minimum of nine (9) and less than fifteen (15) semester credit hours of college-level academic work in one semester. GSC is pleased to announce that 1,417 students were named to this list.
