Department of Learning Support & English as a Second Language:
The LS/ESL department is designed to assist students who have the need for additional preparation in English, Reading, and/or Math

Registrar:
The Office of the Registrar maintains official academic records, enrollment verifications, academic transcripts, registration, and commencement exercises.

Student Academic Success Office:
The Student Academic Success office (SAS) ensures that students achieve educational, career, and personal goals, are engaged throughout their college experience, and are making satisfactory progress toward graduation.
With an emphasis in the first year, the office focuses on college transition and academic adjustment, academic skills, and orientation to the GSC community through a variety of resources, programs, and initiatives.

Supplemental Instruction:
Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an internationally recognized program designed to help students get the grades they need and want in historically difficult courses.  SI provides multiple weekly review sessions led by an SI Leader – a student who as previously done well in the course at GSC.  The SI Leader attends class with the students, takes notes with them, and even asks questions.  So students know exactly what the instructors want to see in papers and on tests and what it will take to get a good grade in the course. 

Testing Center:
The Testing Center is the central source of information related to Advanced Placement (AP), College Level Examination Program (CLEP), Dantes Subject Standard Tests (DSST), Placement Test/Exit Tests(COMPASS), Regents' Exam, and Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

Tutoring & Instructional Support:
UNG offers a variety of tutoring services in the areas of English as a Second Language (ESL), Foreign Language Lab, Math, and Writing.
