For first-semester freshmen, the high school GPA must be at least a 3.5. If the student has taken the ACT, we look for a score of at least 24. If the student has taken the SAT, we look for a combined 1100+ SAT (Verbal and Math). Some exceptions apply.
For current college students, the minimum requirement for entry into the program is a 3.4 college GPA.

In addition, students in the Honors Program will participate in community service and Honors activities each semester. Completion of Honors courses, along with active involvement in service and Honors activities, will be recognized on the student’s transcripts by the designation “Honors Scholar.”
