Books:

Check out for 28 days and are charged no overdue fines.

CDs:

Check out for 7 days and are charged no overdue fines.

DVD's, Videos, & Other Audio Visual Materials:

Check out for 3 days and are charged an overdue fine of
$1.00 per day with a maximum of $10.00 per item.

Math Videos:

Check out for 3 days and are charged an overdue fine of $10.00 per tape.

Reserve materials:

(1 hr and 2 hr)  

 No overdue fine unless kept overnight.

(1day/2 day/3 day/7 day) 

$1.00 per day to a maximum of $10.00.

Lost Items: After an item is overdue 45 days or more, it is declared lost. Replacement and processing fees are charged to the borrower's account. If a lost item, which has been paid for, is returned, the replacement  fees is returned. (The patron needs to bring the original library receipt.) Any fine charges or processing fees that might have been paid will not be refunded to the patron.

Recalled Items: Any items recalled by another patron not returned by its due date will be charged a fee of $1.00 a day to a maximum of $10.00.

Loss of Privileges: Library patrons will lose their checkout privileges (in the Library, ACTT Center, Oconee Campus, etc.) and not be able to register or have transcripts forwarded if ANY item is overdue and/or they owe the library $10.00 or more in fines or fees.

2.  Call our information help desk and ask to renew your books by giving your name and Social Security Number. The assistant will give you the new due date. 678-717-3653. 

3.  Come by our information help desk in the Library on the Gainesville College Campus or the Oconee Campus Library/ACTT Center.
