Participation

Who can participate?

Students currently enrolled in a two-year college or a four year college with only a two year mathematics degree program that have never been enrolled in any math course above the sophomore level are eligible to participate. Students must be enrolled in the college they are representing at the tournament. High school students taking college courses are eligible.

Benefits for All Participants

  • Just competing in a tournament at this level is an accomplishment.
  • You get to meet students from other schools who also enjoy mathematics.
  • Being on your school's Math Team will look good on your resume.
  • It's a challenge. No Pain No Gain.
  • Getting ready for the tournament will help you learn calculus better.
  • You might find out that you're smarter than you thought.
  • You may learn something you didn't know.
  • It's fun!
