Career Development

The career development staff can assist you in deciding what major you should declare to get the job you want.  Counselors are available to work with you on setting educational goals, defining work values, identifying interests, gathering information about possible career choices, and deciding on which college/university to transfer to.

 We provide:

  • One-on-one career counseling
  • Diagnostic testing for interests, values, and personality traits
  • Instructional usage of computer-assisted career programs such as Georgia Career Information System (GCIS)
  • Instructional information on career trends, salary differences, and a career library

GCIC - The Georgia Career Information Center, through its Georgia Career Information System (GCIS), provides current and accurate occupational and educational information to schools and agencies throughout Georgia in order to help young people and adults make informed career choices.
